SPA etiquette
Suggestions on how to conduct oneself in a SPA so that you could enjoy your spa experience to the fullest:
- After your arrival, switch off your mobile phones so that nobody would distract you or other SPA guests;
- Arrive 20 minutes before your procedure so that you could register, change your clothes and relax;
- Warm shower just before the procedure will refresh and help to relax more during it;
- If you have any health issues you have to inform your SPA specialist before the procedure as that could affect the performance. Not every procedure is suitable for everybody. Before having your facial, inform the specialist about your contact lenses.
- Usually, massage is performed on the nude body. However, you will be covered with a towel and only the massaged body parts will be uncovered. If we feel more comfortable with your underwear, you may leave them;
- If you have couple procedures in one day, try to pamper yourself with a back massage before going to your facial;
- Communicate your preferences, expectations and concerns. If you don‘t like the intensity of the massage, music or temperature, tell your masseur; this way the procedure will be flawless and have a stronger effect
- After your masseur utters the phrase “the procedure is finished” let yourself rest for a couple of minutes and savour the procedure. However remember that your masseur can have another appointment. Treat others with courtesy and respect.
